I will dominate 'serious boxer' Paul - Joshua

Anthony Joshua and Jake Paul face-off

The British boxer will face Jake Paul in an eight round match which will be shown in real-time on Netflix.

British boxer Anthony Joshua stated he will "stamp all over" the American and "break" his opponent as the two fighters met personally to publicize next month's bout.

Ex two time world heavyweight champion Joshua meets YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul - in what is, theoretically, a mammoth disparity - at Miami's Kaseya Center on December 19th.

Boxer's Mindset

"I will damage his features and break his body up. My goal is to show my superiority," the British boxer, 35 years old, declared.

"I plan to overwhelm him. That's a fighter's mentality.

"I'm going to genuinely try to cause him pain. That's my intention."

Respectful Interaction

Despite these statements, a composed Anthony Joshua and internet personality Jake Paul - normally known for his dramatics - were respectful and maintained decorum with each other.

Jake Paul instead attacked ex Joshua's rival the Cameroonian fighter and called him "ridiculous" after the Cameroonian rejected a fight offer.

Targeting Fury

Joshua, at the same time, took aim at UK opponent Fury - and refused a million-pound wager 'Tyson Fury' states he will put on a Paul win.

"[Paul] is superior to Tyson Fury - he's present here," Joshua stated.

"I acknowledge that."

Serious Opponent

In spite of saying he intends to damage his opponent, Anthony Joshua declined to talk badly about his rival's boxing ability.

"Jake is a serious fighter," he remarked.

Jake Paul's History

Jake Paul - who initially became famous on the television network - has primarily boxed MMA fighters or faded names since turning professional.

He lost to Briton Fury in last year.

Financial Success

Still, the inexperienced fighter remains one of the sport's biggest commercial attractions, consistently making substantial paydays.

Forecast and Belief

The 28 year old anticipated a stoppage in rounds four or five and stated he would stop the highly-expected Fury-Joshua bout, which is allegedly under discussion for two years from now.

"It's going to be my match with Fury in the coming year," Jake Paul said.

Physical Disparity

As the two fighters met for the customary stare-down, with their physical disparity clearly visible, it emphasized just how improbable this whole event is - and how amazing it is that the fight is really proceeding.
